ISK offers an international high school degree program within our school and participates with some of the best universities in the United States to ensure that our classes, though small in size, are big in possibility. We are currently working with Johns Hopkins University, Stetson University, and Nebraska University to provide the most enriching educational opportunities possible for our students. We are also working on regional cooperative efforts. ISK's small classes and close student-teacher relationships will ensure that students have ample assistance on their road toward university. We have elective courses such as World Governments, Communications and various languages.
Two TracksISK offers 2 tracks for students to choose from. Our school operates on a credit system, which means that students earn credits for each class they take. This makes transferring to another school easy and simple, as the records from ISK will clearly indicate which courses a student has taken or not. All students that attend ISK will leave with detailed records of the classes they completed while here. However, there is another option for more ambitious students. The AP, or Advanced Placement, program is a "fast track" through high school. Completing an AP high school diploma enables students not only to finish secondary school early in some cases, but also to earn college credits as well. Although the AP is a rigorous program, the rewards are well worth the work. AP students are often given college credit, and are thus able to enter university as second semester or even second year students. Completing the AP makes students more attractive to universities. The AP also opens more avenues for scholarship programs.

Extracurricular OpportunitiesWe here at ISK believe that academics are only a part of a complete high school program. That is why there is such a wide range of extracurricular opportunities for students. All of these activities are supervised by staff who are able to provide the right guidance for such activities. There is an active student government, a math club, the After School of Rock music club, French club, after school sports, as well as art and music lessons after school. There is student-to-student mentoring as well as other opportunities for service within and outside of school.
ISK is a member of the College Board and is a PSAT, SAT and ACT testing centerThe College Board is a not-for-profit membership association whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity. Founded in 1900, the association is composed of more than 5,200 schools, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations. Each year, the College Board serves seven million students and their parents, 23,000 high schools, and 3,500 colleges through major programs and services in college admissions, guidance, assessment, financial aid, enrollment, and teaching and learning. Among its best-known programs are the SAT®, the PSAT/NMSQT®, and the Advanced Placement Program® (AP®). The College Board is committed to the principles of excellence and equity, and that commitment is embodied in all of its programs, services, activities, and concerns.
